The Keune story started in 1922 with Jan Keune, a pharmacist from Amsterdam and his fascination for curls! Above the drugstore he ran with his wife, he started experimenting and producing hair products. Where previously hair was curled by heating curling irons over gas burners, Jan Keune managed to design and develop a formula for permanent liquid. It became a resounding success.

Now a global brand supporting salons in over 80 countries with their high quality beautiful products, and who also benefit from their expert and innovative education. Keeping all salons up to date with the latest colour and hair treatment trends.

Keune is a 100% cruelty free company. They do not test their products or ingredients on animals. And they refuse to sell their products to countries where animal testing is required by law.

Keune includes vegan hair product in their varied assortment of brand lines. The So Pure range is 100% vegan and includes colours and homecare products and we are pleased to offer them to our caring clients.
